Bishop Briggs D. Afemia (Founder and General Overseer).

Bishop Gen. Briggs Dio Afemia was born on the 29th day of September 1951 in Otuokpoti, in Ogbia Local Government  Area, Bayelsa State. He was the second child and the first son of the family of 7 children. He attended primary school in community primary school Otuokpoti in Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa state. And obtained his West African Examination Certificate (W.A.E.C) at Onuebum community secondary school. He holds a Bachelors degree in Management from the University of Port Harcourt. He worked as a trained lithographer, and later as trained fire fighter with the then Rivers State Civil service commission and rose to be the head of Department (HOD), where he worked until May , 1995 when he took up Voluntarily retirement to concentrate on God's calling upon his life. As  a sportsman, he was a kongfu expert, and was a coach who trained many in Kongfu (Karate) . He was passionate about his skill for Kongfu as a sport man in Civic Centre, Port Harcourt City, Rivers State. He was awarded In December  2013, the Peace Ambassador by the United  Nations-Polac and was a member of the Global Missions Corp Chaplaincy (GMC) where he held the post of the General leading the South- South of the GMC. Bishop Gen. Briggs Dio Afemia first encountered God in a dream in December 31st, 1986 which led to his conversion to christianity. He became a member of Greater Evangelism World Crusade where he was a very committed member. Because of the power and grace of God upon his life he ministered in many crusades organized by the ministry in most villages and he was a devoted member of the prayer band called (faith clinic). In 1995 a man whom God blessed through Bishop Briggs paid all expenses for him to go abroad for Bible school, a mission which did not materialize . Upon his arrival from Lagos airport a group of persons have gathered to welcome him back and willing to support him in starting a church. Branch of Christ Mission started at No 37 Aba  Road. The ministry later moved to civic center Moscow Road Port Harcourt.  In 1998 the church relocated to stadium Road where the Headquarters was built. In 2011 God told him to go home, conquer  an evil forest in Bayelsa and help his people so he moved to Bayelsa state where God miraculously gave him the site that was a dreaded evil forest. He moved the Head Quarters of the ministry to Bayelsa state and built on the site to the glory of God. Bishop Gen. Briggs Dio Afemia was a man of faith and power whom God used to wrought great miracles, healings and deliverance to many. God used him to clear the most dreaded evil forest in Agudama-Epie, Bayelsa state. Him and His wife  Pst.(Mrs.) Wanumonyo Briggs Afemia are blessed with 7 children (4 Males and 3 Females), and 5 grandchildren.
